Each Ge'ez (first form) syllable also has a Biblical definition. As with numerology practices keywords from the Bible can be shown to have a special meaning as a paragraph is built up from the phrases each letter represents in a word.

A table is provided below, unfortunately the authoritativeness of the source is unknown. Note that ሰ, ወ and ፀ are absent from the table.

Amharic ክርስቶስ ከድንግል ሥጋን ለበሰ።

በ Ge'ez በትህትናሁ ወረደ።
Amharic ጌታችን በትህትናው ወደኛ ወረደ።
English Because Our Lord is generous he came to us.
ተ Ge'ez ተሰብአ ወተሰገው።
Amharic ጌታችን ሰው ሆነ።
English Our Lord became human.
ኀ Ge'ez ኀያል እግዚአብሄር።
Amharic እግዚአብሄር ኀያል ነው።
English God is almighty.
ነ Ge'ez ነሥአ ደዌነ ወጾረ ሕማመነ።
Amharic ጌታችን ደዌያችንን ወሰደ።
English Our Lord took our sickness away.
አ Ge'ez አአኩቶ ወእሴብሆ ለእግዚአብሄር።
Amharic ጌታችንን ፈጽሜ አመስግናዋለሁ።
English I thank Our Lord from my heart.
ከ Ge'ez ወረደ እምሰማይ።
Amharic ጌታ ከሰማይ ወረደ።
English Our Lord came from the sky.
ዐ Ge'ez ዓርግ እምስማይ።
Amharic ወደ ሰማይ አረገ።
English Our Lord returned to the sky.
ዘ Ge'ez ዘኩሎ አኃዝ እግዚአብሄር።
Amharic ጌታ ሁሉን የሚይዝ።

ጠ Ge'ez ጠዐሙ ወታአእምሩ ከመኄር እግዚአብሄር።
Amharic ጌታ ቸር እንደሆነ ቅመሱና እውቁ።
English Try Our Lord then you will know his generosity.
ጰ Ge'ez ጰራቅሊጦስ መንፈስ ጽድቅ።
Amharic ጰራቅሊጦስ እውነተኛ መፈስ ቅዱስ ነው።
English Peraklitos is the true Holy Spirit.
ጸ Ge'ez ጸጋ ወክብር ተወህበ ለነ።
Amharic ጸጋና ክብር ተሰጠን።
English We are given glory and respect.
ፈ Ge'ez ፈጠረ ሰማየ ወምድሪ።
Amharic ጌታ ስማይና ምድርን ፈጠረ።
English The Lord creates the sky and the Earth.
ፐ Ge'ez ፖፖኤል ስሙ ለአምላክ።
Amharic ፖፖኤል ማለት የአምላክ ስም ነው።
English Popoiel is God's name.
